METRO paper ad campaign 2

Simplicity is the key component in this promotional
campaign. Its aim is to cut through the visual noise
of its competitors. The absence of images and other
“ ghting” objects compliment the design, allowing it to
stand out. “Something for everyone” is a simple, short
and easy to remember slogan which describes the
values and goals of the Metro paper.
In three words the strapline explains that the paper is
open to a wide variety of readers with different
interests, beliefs and understandings, i.e. whatever you
are looking for, you will  nd it in the Metro paper.
The poster combines a number of headlines taken
from the paper forming a series of peculiar and
intriguing statements. The colour of each line is used
to reinforce the many different subjects covered by
the Metro (news, travel, fashion etc). The posters have
been designed so that they can be used in any of the
33 cities that the Metro is distributed in.
